Job Details

Our client invites applications for a Manager of College Grants. Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty, the Manager of College Grants is responsible for supporting the College mission by managing and administering the grant application process, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and regulations, and maintaining accurate records of grant activities.

Duties

In conjunction with the Assistant Dean for Grants and Faculty Development, assists faculty and staff in assessing their grant needs, researching prospective grantors, and identifying grant opportunities.

Facilitates the grant application process, preparing, writing, designing, and editing grant proposals and submitting applications within deadlines.

Ensures compliance with grant guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements throughout the grant lifecycle.

Prepares and submits timely and accurate reports to grantors as required.

Assists in development and monitoring of grant budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring that grant funds are utilized appropriately.

Maintains comprehensive and organized records of all grant activities, including applications, awards, correspondence, and reports. Assists with the completion of interim and final reports and coordinates with the project leaders to ensure their timely submission.

Serves as the primary point of contact for grant-related inquiries, both internally and externally, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Serves as the authorized campus representatives for electronic submission of grant proposals.

Collaborates with the faculty/staff leading the project, as well as with the Dean of the Faculty, Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Financial Aid Office, Business Office, and others to ensure alignment of grant activities with organizational goals and priorities. Communicates grant awards, spending, and progress to involved constituencies. Works closely with the Business Office to ensure proper budget tracking, resolve any budget issues, monitor budgets of funded projects, and track allowable expenses.

Coordinates with the Assistant Dean for Grants and Faculty Development to maintain and update College polices related to research and grants.

Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree is required, along with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous budgeting and project management experience is preferred.
