The Northrop Grumman Rolling Meadows, IL Campus is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Operations Manager 3 . The Manufacturing Operations Manager provides the required oversight to lead a strong integrated Operations Team via robust leadership characteristics which are essential as this role drives strategies to meet or exceed cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities will include managing of the Production Control Team, serve as the Operations Depot Coordinator within RM Operations, overall responsibilities for government property for the Rolling Meadows Operations organization and serve as the S/4 Hanna & PEO Phase 5 site Operations lead. Oversees and manages all operational aspects of a (one or more) manufacturing and/or production area(s), responsible for the safety of the employees, delivering quality products on time and within customer cost targets, and continuous improvement. Manages and presents status on cost, schedule and performance for all projects within the area; assesses issues and develops mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of related experience working with manufacturing teams, including Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Quality/Mission Excellence (QME) and 5+ years of team lead and/or direct supervision of personnel; Master's Degree with 7 years; PhD with 4 years. U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Ability to formulate, communicate, and execute complex project plans and initiatives. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to work through issues, address personnel issues, and work with minimal direction. Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Operations, Scheduling, or Production Control arenas. Significant experience leading and executing Production Control with the ability to execute major business system transitions (S4/PEO) throughout the implementation lifecycle. Defense industry Management experience in one of the following disciplines: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering or Program Office. Experience with SAP/MRP Systems and MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Experience with management and handling of government property. Demonstrated ability to direct and implement Root Cause & Corrective Action. Experience with property management systems (GOLDesp) and Customer/Government Property adhering to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.245-1, and DFARS 245.6, and other applicable FAR, DFARS, DoD regulations. Active Secret Clearance. Salary Range: $142,600 - $213,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
