This position works collaboratively with Radiologists, physicians, staff, and leadership to ensure the efficient and effective business and clinical operations of assigned areas within Diagnostic Imaging. Monitors department workflow and all quality assurance and assumes responsibility for issue resolution, employee engagement and teaches quality control and equipment maintenance. Under the direction and guidance of leadership, oversees daily operations, workflow, and performance to ensure policies and procedures are in effect to achieve expert care, superior service, and optimal clinical outcomes. Works closely with all physician groups and hospital departments to promote and enhance Diagnostic Imaging services. Ensures state, federal, and regulatory requirements are identified, monitored, and met.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Work Experience

  • 5 years of clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • ARRT Certification
  • Current VT State license.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of practice management or administration.
  • Ability to interpret, implement and develop policies and procedures.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Leadership skills to include negotiating/influencing and team engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills.
  • Must have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of diagnostic imaging, including equipment and systems.
  • Strong knowledge in areas of quality, equipment maintenance and repeat imaging analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop applications.
  • Able to think creatively and work with team members to create change.
  • Adept with change theory and evolution of priorities.
  • Complies with all regulatory requirements
  • Able to respectfully challenge status quo thinking and provide advice on potential improvements.

Pay Range = $37.17 - $59.38
