Job Description

The Manager, FP&A will be responsible for a wide range of Vivint planning, financial analysis and management reporting, including providing financial support to Vivint management.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and reporting
Help determine Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Develop Models for new business ideas, products, and channels
Support monthly close process, and executing SOX controls
Support continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality, and systems capability.
Prepare variance and trend analysis, and provide proactive recommendations for addressing variances to budget

Provide ad hoc analytics


REQUIRED SKILLS:
Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling
Experience with planning and analysis software tools (experience with Adaptive Planning software a plus)
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a company with multiple routes to market is a plus
Experience supporting Product Management and Engineering is a plus

Experience in a High Tech Company is a plus.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience, complex challenging environment
Bachelor's Degree (Finance preferred), MBA a plus
Accounting background a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
