Overview

Responsibilities Hard Rock International is looking for a mid-level individual to work with the VP of Preconstruction in performing the following:
  • Assist in developing budgets for all domestic and international projects
  • Identify Value Engineering options and develop estimates for these VE ideas
  • Maintain budget template with cost codes
  • Interface with Cost Controller to insure accurate reporting of project costs
  • Track performance of the project budget during construction
  • Assist in developing and updating project forecasts
  • Analyze and report on variances between budgets and project costs
  • Analyze historical cost information to assist in preparing Budgets for new projects
  • Identify potential scope changes
  • Review Requests for Project Changes (RPC)
  • Assist in reviewing and preparing Cash flows
  • Assist in preparing preliminary milestone schedules
  • Assist in procurement of Construction and Design services
  • Assist in bid analysis for Construction and AE services


Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business or Finance and 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of the Development and Construction process.
  • Experience with FF&E, OS&E, IT systems, AV, Security systems, Insurance and Design Costs.
  • Knowledge of Casino Gaming systems is preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of how different budget categories interrelate and develop cost models that are representative of those inter-relationships.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent reading and writing.
  • Comprehend professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.
  • Comfortable communicating in a foreign county with language barriers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to move throughout the Corporate Headquarters (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.

  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, and loud/noisy environment.
