Job Details

Responsibilities:

As the Manager, Field Broadcast Operations (Live Sports), you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all aspects of our live sports broadcast operations, including the coordination of field operations, management of broadcast technologies, and inventory control of broadcast equipment.

2. Leading a team of field operators and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and professionalism.

3. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute customer events, ensuring an exceptional viewer experience.

4. Managing the lifecycle of broadcast projects, from initial planning and scheduling to execution and post-event analysis.

5. Troubleshooting technical issues in real-time, implementing solutions to minimize disruption to live broadcasts.

6. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in broadcast technology, making recommendations for equipment upgrades and process improvements.

7. Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity and quality of our broadcasts.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in broadcast operations, with a specific focus on live sports broadcasting.

2. Proven experience in field operations and managing customer events.

3. Proficiency in the latest broadcast technologies and equipment, with a proven track record of effective inventory control.

4. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues under pressure.

7. A passion for sports and broadcasting, with a commitment to delivering high-quality content to our viewers.

8. A degree in broadcasting, communications, or a related field is preferred.
