THE JOB
This is a Manager-Staffing Resources & Nursing Operations position and requires someone who has mention the key skills for this role . As a Manager-Staffing Resources & Nursing Operations your roles and responsibilities will include:

Appropriate coordination of staffing resources to the Nursing Management Team.

Facilitates the Department of Nursing staffing of the hospital, and long-term care departments by utilizing and identifying available nursing resources, based upon unit needs and staff/census, fluctuations to maintain cost-effective staffing patterns.

Support the nurse management team in maintaining accurate demographic, skill, and scheduling information on all nursing employees in a computerized scheduling system.

Functions within the Nursing Department to facilitate and coordinate the placement of appropriately trained and skilled nursing personnel within the hospital.

Serves as communication point regarding staffing with all parties involved.

Assists with coordination of staffing policies and procedures in relation to nursing personnel and the staffing software program.

Other responsibilities include maintaining the Performance Management Process, discipline, and care issues for responsible departments.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Manager-Staffing Resources & Nursing Operations who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Manager-Staffing Resources & Nursing Operations would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

Nursing Management experience preferred

Experience scheduling staff preferred

Registered Nurse License (RN)

American Heart Association CPR (BLS)
