Paid Time Off (PTO). Responsibilities Position Summary: Responsible for the effective operation of Employee Health, Workers' Compensation and Wellness Programs. This includes program development, reporting, analysis and interpretation, consultation, nursing assessment and education for employees within the areas of pre-employment, annual health checks, safety related to employee injuries and wellness. Develops performance improvement activities related to Employee health, Workers' Compensation and Wellness Programs, maintaining compliance with Dignity Health (DH) policies and procedures, and all applicable State and federal programs. Maintains a high level of quality patient care. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support hospital strategic plans and the goals and direction of the quality improvement, process, and activities. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required. Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in acute or clinic setting. At least two (2) years direct experience in providing care to individuals with occupational injuries, risk management and workers' compensation claims management required. Knowledge of occupational health, workers' compensation, labor code and Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) regulations is required. Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of California required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
