Summary Able to assume significant responsibility for the successful performance of Contracts and the Contracts Department Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Broad based knowledge of most aspects of Contract Administration with proven skills in negotiations and contracts maintenance. In depth knowledge of ITAR and other U.S. export regulations and experience in applying for and acquiring approval of export licenses, technical assistance agreements, and other required export documents. Should be able to assist in establishing departmental policy and procedures. Capable of providing work direction on several major contracts concurrently. Capable of taking the lead for Contract Administration functions on major proposal efforts. Contracts will be administered in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations and customer requirements. Monitor contract performance and assure compliance to the contract.
Capable of handling any and all Contract Administration functions from the RFQ/RFP through closeout.
Extensive knowledge of and expertise with commercial and Government procurement systems, regulations and statutes. Capable of administrating multiple large contracts concurrently without supervision. In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFARS, commercial contracting, and the capability of interpreting and modifying contract Terms and Conditions. Has the ability to negotiate any size contracts and is capable of reviewing and recommending changes to solicitations.
Extensive experience in the drafting, negotiation and administration of non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, license agreements and bailment agreements.
Extensive experience in complying with the Truth in Negotiations Act.
Lead a team of Contracts professionals to support an entire P&L directorate.
Manage the workload amongst multiple direct reports to ensure coverage and successful contract administration.

Qualifications and Education Requirements 4 year degree with a minimum of 8 years direct Contract Administration experience or some of this direct contract experience may be met by significant experience in a related field such as program management, accounting or finance.
Experience managing multiple employees.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is ability to prepare complex contracts documents. Capable of producing policy and procedure documents
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Holding a CPCM, CPM or equivalent certification is a plus. Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
