We are seeking 2 experienced full-time Mammography Technologist to join our incredible team at our beautiful Sandy Springs location. We require that you are an ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification. This position offers a competitive hourly rate including the benefits listed below. Mammography Technologist's Benefits:

Responsibilities of the Mammography Technologist: (included, but not limited to)
Be well versed in all aspects of clinical breast imaging & patient care
Must be caring, compassionate, & possess a positive attitude
Operates computer and mammography equipment for image production
Documents patient assessment and history
Practices accurate and timely completion of work
Performs quality control measures to ensure optimal images
Enters and properly completes all risk and history information into the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Sets exam status accordingly in an accurate and timely manner
Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to the needs of the department
Communicate abnormal situations to proper sources in a way that facilitates resolution and/or tracking
Actively engages other health care providers (radiologists, surgeons, specialist, sonographers) to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care
Follows department procedures/processes/policies
Practices safety measures in radiography by adhering to all governing regulations
Follows universal precautions, infection control guidelines and sterile technique
Maintains exam room and work area
Other duties as assigned
Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice
Requirements:
- We are a Certified Drug Free Workplace. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification. ARRT (R)(M)
- Must have at least one year experience as a Mammography Technologist performing screening & diagnostic exams.
- Basic Knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines.
- Basic Knowledge of mammography Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- General knowledge of policies and procedures for the delivery of healthcare services.
- Basic PC (keyboarding & navigation) skills.
