We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled individual to work with cutting-edge machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our machinery and equipment are always in top-notch condition. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Carrying out regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and rectify any potential issues before they escalate.
2. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial manufacturing equipment.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
4. Using a variety of tools and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
6. Assisting in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work, and maintaining accurate records.
8. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
9. Providing technical support and advice to other team members, as required.
10. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in machinery and equipment technology, and making recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
3. Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, and the tools required for their maintenance and repair.
4. Must be flexible with 1st and 2nd shift schedules.
5. Spanish speaking a plus
6. The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
8. A relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship would be highly advantageous.
9. Physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.
10. A valid driver's license, as the role may involve travel to different sites.
