PLC, preventive maintenance
Open to evaluate candidates with an Associates degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance in lieu of experience
Experience need to be in manufacturing environment, not automotive or builiding maintenance

Job description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Maintenance Mechanic Techanican is responsible for the reliability, performance, Electrical and repair maintenance of industrial mechanical devices in the plant, including pneumatic and hydraulic devices
In addition, the Mechanic Electrical Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance on electrical devices 480v consistent with experience
The industrial mechanic acts as a process expert for this multi craft job dealing with mechanical specialist and electrical responsibilities related to the mechanical function
This includes reacting to process and equipment issues, preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as elimination of special cause variation while driving safety and quality and optimizing plant efficiency.
Now offering a sign on bonus.
Training up to 90 days Monday to Friday 800a to 400p

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Principle Duties
Perform multi craft electrical and industrial mechanical tasks required.
Perform both routine and nonroutine maintenance tasks on process and support equipment.
Fabricate items from sketches or verbal descriptions.
Communicate written and verbal work activities, equipment problems and solutions to broader maintenance team, shift coordinators and members of the management team.
Participate in project teams as needed.
Complete Daily work records and activity reports within SAP.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Advance plant's safety culture through improving equipment reliability and eliminate upset conditions.
Interact and coordinate with plant operations to design and implement safety improvement projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 to 6 years experience in industrial maintenance
Multi Craft Maintenance Technician-Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Electrician
Preferred
Associates degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance or related area
Must be eligible to work in the US on an unlimited basis
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong mechanical skills which include pneumatic, hydraulic, rotating equipment and motor drive train.
Strong electrical skills which include 480V, control voltage, PLC troubleshooting and sensor installation.
Experience with safety systems such as gate lock, relay or guarding.
Ability to read all types of blueprints and schematics.
Proficient with electrical troubleshooting including the use of a multimeter
