Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing constant support to manufacturing by maintaining equipment in good operating condition. Maintain plant equipment and facility in reliable condition.Troubleshoot and correct production line breakdowns quickly, efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Following all safety rules and procedures and environmental standards applicable to our process and facility.
- Team work effort and involvement in order to meet goals
- Flexible to work any shift
- Work safely and follow all established plant policies and procedures. (LOTO)
- Possesses a strong mechanical aptitude and electrical aptitude applicable to a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a TEAM player
- Follow direction and show attention to detail.
- Show a desire to keep improving in skills and knowledge
- Must utilize the I-Maint program for daily duties and input information.
- Keep work area and job site clean, neat and safe
- Good troubleshooting skills utilizing manuals, schematics, manfacture technical support line.
Qualifications:
- Ability to meet the requirements of the job with or without accommodations.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to learn, and follow instructions, ask questions and work effectively as a member of a team
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good math skills
- 1-2 years in a production or maintenance environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and PLC (480VAC, 600VDC, networks, drives, communication programs.
- Ability to weld, torch cutting, fabricating when needed
- Certified to drive a tow-motor and aerial lift
