Express Employment Professionals in Mount Vernon has partnered with a locally owned and operated cold storage company to recruit for their next Maintenance Technician. This position is a contract to hire position.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of their seafood processing facility. Your expertise in maintaining and repairing processing equipment will directly impact the ability to meet production goals and maintain product quality. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18.00
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6:30AM - 3:30PM
What you get to do:
- Working with motors, pumps, wiring, switches, and hydraulics
- General facility maintenance
- Maintain processing and cold storage equipment
- Equipment maintained: Signode Strapping Machines, Vacuum Packing Machines, Roll Stock and Chamber, Conveyors, Fish Processing Equipment, Butcher Boy Band Saws.
What you need to be successful:
- Two years industrial maintenance experience preferred
