Want to make your mark? We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our community. A successful Maintenance Technician I plays a vital role in the property's day to day impression on existing and prospective residents. Would be expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism while ensuring that all Benchmark maintenance policies and procedures are consistently followed.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
- Performs general maintenance work (light electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)
- Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste
- Maintains chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction
- Works effectively within the work-order system
- Available for After Hour Emergencies
- Familiar with Key Kard Access Controls, SNF Environment and DPH Regulations and familiar with Building Management Control Systems
- Available for After Hour Emergencies
- Mentor to the Maintenance Technician II
EDUCATION/LICENSURE
- Experience as apprentice or licensure in a trade
- Must be physically able to move at least 50lbs without assistance, and have the ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for long periods.
