OPENING IS IN Orlando/ Kissimmee We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance Personnel. This role primarily involves housekeeping duties such as cleaning and trash pickup, as well as operating equipment such as mowers and trimmers. Mechanical knowledge is preferred, and experience in plumbing and pressure washing is advantageous. The ideal candidate should be coachable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Key Responsibilities: Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of designated areas. Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling materials. Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and pressure washers effectively and safely. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment and facilities. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and replenish as needed. Assist with plumbing tasks as required, such as fixing leaks or unclogging drains. Conduct pressure washing of exterior surfaces and equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Must be open to receiving feedback and willing to learn new skills. Qualifications: Previous experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred. Ability to operate mowers, trimmers, and other maintenance equipment. Mechanical knowledge and experience with minor repairs are preferred. Basic understanding of plumbing systems and maintenance. Familiarity with pressure washing techniques. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Must be coachable and receptive to training. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required. Reliable transportation to and from work sites. Compensation: Pay starts at $16 per hour with the opportunity for a raise after 90 days based on performance and attendance. Essential Functions: Must understand the inter-workings of a machine and be able to maintain it. Installs, repairs, and maintains or rebuilds equipment and machinery relative to the physical plant and its processes including air compressors, pumps, motors, variable frequency drives Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations Wear and properly use safety equipment and/or PPE when required. Other duties as assigned Education: High school graduate or equivalent (Required) Employment Experience and Skills: 2 years experience in the mechanical field Able to work independently without supervision Good knowledge of equipment, machinery, and processes Ability to troubleshoot pump issues Good knowledge of the tools, equipment and terminology used in the installation, rebuilding maintenance, and repair of wastewater treatment systems Skill in the operation repair of pumps, valves, and related mechanical and electrical equipment Very strong mechanical aptitude, reliability and multitasking are a must Able to follow written and verbal instructions and can stay on task while working alone The ability to be cross-trained to perform other jobs as needed Ability to communicate with others for safety and efficiency requirements Working Environment: Able to work in all climates heat, cold, and wet conditions Lifting, climbing, and bending Must be able to work on feet most of the workday Must be able to work with strong odors
