Job Details

We are searching for a seasoned Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will gain the opportunity to work in a high-energy, innovative environment where their skills in maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic equipment will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:
1. Performing routine inspections of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to identify and resolve issues and ensure optimal performance.
2. Maintaining, repairing, and replacing gauges, valves, and other related equipment.
3. Diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment based on observation and applying appropriate resolution.
4. Conducting preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, cleaning and adjusting systems, and replacing worn-out components.
5. Working with the engineering team to understand and interpret blueprints, technical instructions, and operating manuals.
6. Participating in safety audits and adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
7. Documenting all performed maintenance work and repairs.
8. Collaborating with other team members to improve and optimize maintenance processes.
9. Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably within the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is a must.
3. Proficient in the use of gauges, valves, and other related equipment.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
5. Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
6. Excellent understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
7. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. A relevant certification or diploma in a related technical field is preferred.
