We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by performing regular maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures on a variety of industrial equipment. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Performing regular preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to prevent breakdowns and failures.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing faults in electrical systems, PLCs, industrial equipment, and Ammonia Refrigeration systems.
3. Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and performing immediate repairs to minimize downtime.
4. Assisting in the installation, modification, and upgrade of manufacturing equipment and systems.
5. Regularly inspecting equipment and machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures when performing maintenance and repair tasks.
7. Collaborating with the manufacturing team to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
8. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference and reporting.

Qualifications:

To be successful as a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment.
3. Proficiency in Ammonia Refrigeration systems maintenance and repair.
4. Strong understanding of preventative maintenance procedures and practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and fix complex equipment issues.
6. A strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and reporting.
9. Relevant certification or qualification in electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
