Our Dearborn, MI location is in need of a diverse, skilled maintenance technician to take care of the standard day-to-day maintenance and care of all company equipment and facilities.


Responsibility:

Responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment and property on factory grounds. Installs, maintains, and repairs the machinery, physical structure, and the pipe and
electrical systems.


Essential Functions/Resource Provision:

  1. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
  2. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
  3. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
  4. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical
    and electronic components of machinery
  5. Repairs and maintains physical structures of the establishment
  6. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment
  7. Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures

Supplemental Functions:

Perform special work-related projects for all levels of management.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  3. Product knowledge, (Including but not limited to: PLC, Hi-lo, hydraulics, pneumatics,
    variable frequency drives, SSD drives for slitters, SSD software, and RS Logic
    Programming)
  4. Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Completion of an electrical program


Working Conditions:

Individuals will work primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment that requires constant walking, standing, carrying of loads individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
