We are currently recruiting for a
Maintenance Mechanic . The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing preferably in steel, forging or machining. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic that has a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Applicants must be organized, self-motivated and able to complete tasks unsupervised.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting - basic schematics, PLC knowledge, fuse sizing, VOM usage skills.
- Familiar with 120v single phase to 480v 3 phase systems.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude - interpret blueprints, read gauges, drill & tap holes, and the ability to use industrial hand tools.
- Cutting torch and welding skills.
- Inspect for defects, misalignment, wear and insufficient lubrication and determine the best process for making repairs with limited interruption to production
- Diagnose and repair activities. Determine materials and replacement parts needed to proceed with repairs, maintenance and rebuilds
- Maintain daily work logs and update equipment records
- Adjust, calibrate, and lubricate machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility
- This job involves lifting, pulling prying and ladder work.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 hourly, depending on skills
