We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Scientific Industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving the functionality and longevity of our state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our scientific research and production processes. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular preventative maintenance on scientific machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
2. Diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems promptly and effectively.
3. Proficiently handle Allen Bradley PLC and PLC Siemens systems.
4. Troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanical and electrical systems swiftly to minimize downtime.
5. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand equipment layouts and troubleshoot problems.
6. Provide technical assistance and guidance to the team on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
7. Document all maintenance and repair work accurately for future reference and reporting.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.
9. Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure all equipment and machinery are in excellent working condition.
10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably in the scientific industry or a related field.
2. Demonstrable proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
3. Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC and PLC Siemens.
4. Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques.
5. Excellent electrical and mechanical skills.
6. Proven ability to troubleshoot a variety of technical issues efficiently.
7. Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical understanding.
8. Outstanding problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
11. Relevant certification or diploma in a technical field is preferred.
