Industrial Maintenance Technician 1st Shift $29.00/hour Belvidere Direct HireA Global Metals company is searching for a 1st Shift Experienced Maintenance Technician. This dynamic manufacturing/fabricating environment is constantly growing and is looking to hire a dedicated worker who will help grow the company to a new level of production. Responsibilities:The Maintenance Technician inspects, troubleshoots, and conducts repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing
- Ability to read blue-prints and other technical documents
- Experience with Hydraulics
- Experience with welding a plus
- Previous forklift and crane experience beneficial
- Previous experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and equipment
- Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools
- Experienced with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of electrical valves and switches, A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires walking, standing, climbing, crawling, bending
Requires regular lifting 50lbs. Ability to climb ladders and work in outdoor conditions
