Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principal Maintenance/Sr. Principal Maintenance Technician (Millwright Technician) Level 3 or Level 4 to support our Maintenance Team on site at our Clearfield, Utah location. Role Description & Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Job Duties: Perform mechanical and or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment
Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc
Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position
Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned
Shift as follows: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off (Example: Work Mon Tues, Off Wed Thu, Work Fri, Sat, Sun, etc.). Shift differential paid during eligible shifts
Hours: 6:00 PM-6:30 AM This requisition can be filled as either a level 3 Maintenance Technician or a level 4 Maintenance Technician. Basic Qualifications: Maintenance Technician Level 3 : High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright
Certificate of Training in a Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program (4 years working as a supporting tradesman may qualify in lieu of certificate)
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
Strong computer, math, analytical, and troubleshooting skills required
Ability to obtain DOD secret security clearance Maintenance Technician Level 4 : High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright
Certificate of Training in a Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program (4 years working as a supporting tradesman may qualify in lieu of certificate)
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
Strong computer, math, analytical, and troubleshooting skills required
Ability to obtain DOD secret security clearance Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.)
Electrician: Must be proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems
Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems
Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance

Salary Range 2: $59,300 - $98,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
