We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing unit. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves working on a variety of equipment, including pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The role requires a dedicated professional who can work under pressure and is committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure that production continues smoothly and safely.
2. Perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, including changing sprockets, pump repair, and hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance.
3. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and identify faults or malfunctions.
4. Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
5. Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
6. Create and maintain maintenance logs, documenting all performed and upcoming maintenance procedures.
7. Respond quickly to emergency situations, manage crisis efficiently ensuring minimal production downtime.
8. Recommend and implement improvements to preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in pump repair, changing sprockets, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
3. Solid knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
