Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with the following duties:

1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently.
3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components of our industrial machinery and equipment.
4. Maintain detailed records of maintenance performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
5. Follow and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols.
6. Collaborate with the production team to understand and resolve machinery issues.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industrial maintenance best practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience with equipment maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
3. A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related field is preferred.
