Job Details

1st shift and 3rd shift.

We are seeking a highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Tech to join our dynamic team in the Food Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including PLCs, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, VFD Drives, Motor controls, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, identifying and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install and startup new equipment, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, using COGZ software to track work orders and inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production and engineering, to ensure equipment is operating at optimal levels.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in the Engineering industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience working with PLCs, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, VFD Drives, Motor controls, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience with installation and startup of new equipment, including Mitsubishi PLC.
  • Proficient in COGZ software for maintenance tracking and inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
