We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This is a position that plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. You will be the one to ensure that your team of maintenance technicians have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, and ensure implementation.
2. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
3. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
4. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
5. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
6. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
7. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
8. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
2. Strong understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
3. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
4. Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
5. Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical stamina and dexterity.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
8. Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
9. Extensive knowledge in equipment repair, troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, predictive and preventative maintenance.
10. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
