This position provides technical and maintenance supervisory support within the Maintenance Department.

What youll be doing:


Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, youll Supervise the Maintenance Planner and Supervisors (mechanical and I&E).

  • Interact with the CMMS system with a focus on both long term and short-term planning.

  • Support site EHS activities by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies/procedures and actively participating in EHS programs and initiatives.

  • Ensure safe execution of all maintenance work, electrical, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.

  • Review design safety by incorporating company standards, government codes, and sound engineering design practices.

  • Develop and maintain training programs for technicians on site systems, involving manufacturers, vendors, and site-specific information.

  • Manage maintenance budgets and prioritize activities, establishing and maintaining relationships with various internal and external stakeholders

  • Oversee the preventative maintenance program, including development of maintenance frequencies, monitoring PM completion efficiency, and recommending actions for compliance

  • Ensures that the Management of Change (MOC) procedures are followed.

  • Troubleshoots equipment problems.

  • Supports continuous improvement efforts on site and monitors new technology for ideas to reduce cost and improve plant up- time.

  • Work closely with engineers, the maintenance clerk, and groups outside of the maintenance department.




Applicant background requested:



  • Ba che lors degree, preferably in engineering.

  • 5+ years' experience working as an engineer, supervisor and/or planner preferably in an industrial chemical setting. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of asset maintenance as well as maintenance practices and procedures.

  • Must be able to climb towers and enter confined spaces and have the ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
