Aerotek is currently hiring for maintenance mechanics in the Baltimore, MD area. Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties: Job Description: - Preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of low and high-speed production equipment and have the working knowledge of belt & screw conveyors, bucket elevators and other material handling equipment
- Run basic machine shop equipment that includes Manual Lathe's and Manual End Mills, perform metal fabrication, weld and burn and have the ability to trouble shoot basic Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems
- Perform mechanical repairs on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems
- Perform fabrication and welding repairs
- Perform any other maintenance and repairs as needed
Job Requirements: - Experience performing maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
- Experience performing troubleshooting of PLCs
- Any welding or fabrication experience is a plus
