Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our production equipment and facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the meat processing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
• Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and other industrial machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Communicate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new equipment and technologies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and other industrial machinery
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
