Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic are as follows:
Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to industrial machines including PLC'S, PM'S, troubleshooting repairs, hydraulics, pneumatic and electrical. Installation of machines and equipment.
- Ensure that machines are being fixed in a timely and safe way.
- Assist in maintaining work orders. Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
- Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills
The skills of a Maintenance Mechanic are as follows:
A strong preference may be given to a candidate with prior maintenance experience in a large manufacturer.
- Previous experience with preventive maintenance, Blueprint reading, welding troubleshooting machines.
- Highly organized with good communication skills. Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important issue or problem.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
