Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Lunenberg, MA. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Pay Rate Range: $28 - $32/hour
Schedule(s)/Hours: 2ND ShiftPosition Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Responsibilities include: - Troubleshoot simple machinery for faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions and repair/replace as required.
- Make minor machine repairs when requested.
- Fabricate simple fixtures, parts, tools and support equipment by utilizing machine shop equipment (i.e. lathe, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welder and had tools)
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic system using schematics, maintain all support machinery (i.e. air compressors, cooling towers, etc.)
- Manufacture specialized support machinery and parts from existing designs.
- Perform simple electrical wiring on production, support building utilities (120V-480V) three phase and 120- volt single phase.
- Plumbing and carpentry work as needed.
- Preventative maintenance as needed.
Qualifications include: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role strongly preferred
- Must have experience in a manufacturing industry
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to multitask and use hand power tools
- Addition experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Electronics Controls, Welding, Carpentry, Hydraulics, and Machining are a plus
- Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
