Description
12 hour shifts. 3 1/2 day work weeks. Alternating weekends.
The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery.
Role and Responsibilities - Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
- Identifies the cause of unexpected breakdown of machine.
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements - High School degree, some college preferred
- 2+ years' work experience in manufacturing setting
- Database management
- MS Office proficiency, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Working knowledge of plant equipment and parts a plus
- May be required to work long hours and weekends
