Job Description: As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and optimizing the performance of furnaces and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for various types of industrial equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, prioritize workload, and monitor progress to meet maintenance objectives and production schedules.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the maintenance team.
  • Implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance, longevity, and reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in maintenance operations, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  • Develop and enforce maintenance procedures and protocols to mitigate safety risks and ensure a safe working environment for maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining optimal levels of equipment reliability and performance.
  • Procure necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts to support maintenance activities, ensuring adequate inventory levels and efficient utilization of resources.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
