Maintenance Manager

Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: San Jose, CA 95116

Job Type: 0-3+ Months

Hours: 1st Shift (M-F)

Pay Rate: $55.00-$59.00/Hour on w2.

Responsibilities:

Manages and directs the planning, predictive and stores maintenance activities.

Plans, directs, and implements Maintenance Department activities.

Operates within budgetary limitations, including overtime and manpower scheduling.

Coordinates training programs for subordinate staff.

Manages controlled stores inventory.

Maintains and updates preventative maintenance program.

Drives technical improvement of equipment.

Monitors Maintenance KPIs.

Establishes direction and policy for maintenance programs.

Manages personnel issues and union grievances.

Communicates with management to establish maintenance priorities.

Initiates energy-saving programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years' experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years related work experience.

Technical education and extensive job-related experience in electrical and mechanical engineering techniques.

Proficient knowledge of processing and packaging equipment.

Manufacturing environment with noise and variable climates.

Requires extended work schedules and specific time constraints.

Ability to operate a personal computer.
