Maintenance Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Supervise, coordinate, schedule and review the activities of the Maintenance Associates.
2. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, using electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
3. Authority to plan and direct maintenance activities for all shifts and establish priorities for projects in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
4. Coordinates maintenance activities with production control, tool room, and quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower, machine, and equipment.
5. Reviews and analyzes production, quality, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of production problems.
6. Consults with production personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
7. May initiate purchase order for parts and machines.
8. Adhere to all safety regulations.
9. Set up and maintain a good Preventative Maintenance Schedule on all equipment.
10. Maintain excellent housekeeping habits.
11. Maintains conformance with organizational policies, and compliance with environmental and safety legal requirements.
12. Supports new product launch activities and equipment installation as necessary.
13. Performs other essential functions as assigned.
