Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance operations within our organization. The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our manufacturing facilities and equipment.

Qualification:
  • 7-10 years of manufacturing experience with progressive leadership roles.
  • Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, electrical) from an accredited school required.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Follows all company and departmental safety protocols, including using personal protective equipment when needed.
  • May need to work overtime or flexible hours as necessary.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the role.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with adaptability to change.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate within a team and pass on knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and associated documentation.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting ladder logic diagrams and modifying PLC programs.

Job Details
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department and coordinate with external contractors.
  • Set goals, priorities, and evaluate staff performance to optimize resource utilization.
  • Foster an empowered and communicative environment within the maintenance team.
  • Oversee CapEx projects by preparing proposals, ensuring proper planning and funding, and monitoring project completion.
  • Develop strategic capital plans for equipment replacement, capacity expansion, and cost reduction.
  • Standardize maintenance processes, document procedures, and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for waste disposal, facility permits, and safety measures.
  • Manage operating and capital budgets, develop cost reduction strategies, and collaborate with leadership teams.
  • Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Provide full management responsibility for the maintenance organization, including personnel management, performance counseling, and resource allocation.
  • Prioritize safety and collaborate with EH&S to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor staff performance, set goals, and implement improvement targets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to optimize equipment and facility performance while reducing costs and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Lead teams to improve equipment reliability and launch continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cultivate a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.
  • Achieve and exceed plant business plan goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
