Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
High school/Technical school or equivalent
One to three years experience in Maintenance
Must submit to and pass a yearly physical examination.
Must have a valid New York State Driver's license.
Must have physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Performs all minor repairs on electrical equipment, e.g., cord ends, call cords, bedside lamps, etc.
Performs a variety of tasks involved in anchoring of objects.
Prepares and paints walls, ceilings, doors, equipment, etc.
Repairs clogged drains, leaky faucets, toilets, etc.
Knowledge of Emergency fire panels.
Responsible for maintaining equipment in good working order - uses hand and power tools, ladders, scaffolds, etc.
Responsible for up-keep of grounds, both summer and winter, i.e., trimming, mowing, shoveling of snow, plowing with truck, etc.
Makes rounds.
Assist contractors working in building.
Repair or replace light fixtures.
Replace plugs/plate switches.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
