Maintenance & Facilities Technician

Annual Total Compensation for Role: $40,000-$45,000

A faith-based non-profit in the Milwaukee area is looking for its next Maintenance & Facilities Tech.

The ideal candidate will have handyman and mechanical repair skills with practical working knowledge of HVAC, boilers, small equipment repair and general facilities and grounds upkeep experience. Candidates need to possess basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Excel, video meetings, etc.).

NOTE - MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A REFERENCE FROM A PASTOR OR FAITH-BASED LEADER AND BE WILLING TO SPEAK TO THEIR PERSONAL FAITH JOURNEY FOR FULL CONSIDERATION.

Requirements

High School diploma.

2 years of comparable work experience.

Must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean record.

Exposure to extremely hot, humid, and freezing cold temperatures along with rain, sleet and snow. Temperatures may range from -20 to 120 F.

Lifts, carries and/or pushes/pulls various items (bags, boxes, carts, etc.) while utilizing proper technique.

Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees in order to effectively perform a wide variety of duties.

Problem solving ability.

Evidence of spiritual maturity, including integrity, humility, and self-discipline.
