This role is crucial to maintaining the safety and efficiency of our ammonia refrigeration systems and industrial boilers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems, ensuring they are running at peak performance. Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems and industrial boilers.
2. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in these systems, using a variety of tools and techniques.
3. Monitor system operation, adjusting settings as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
4. Ensure systems are operating in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
5. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including any parts or components used.
6. Communicate effectively with other team members, managers, and outside contractors, as necessary.
7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.
8. Respond to emergencies promptly, taking appropriate action to mitigate damage and ensure safety.
9. Assist in the planning and implementation of new system installations or upgrades.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with ammonia, ammonia refrigeration, refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration system operations, industrial ammonia refrigeration, and industrial boilers.
2. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair these systems.
3. Strong understanding of the safety and environmental regulations governing the operation of these systems.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
6. Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
7. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
8. Ability to respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
9. Experience in planning and implementing new system installations or upgrades is a plus.
