Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to define, design, and propose alternative solutions to changing business needs.
- Work with customers to troubleshoot reported issues.
- Provide system administration support.
- Must be able and willing to work weekends and evenings to support on-call responsibilities as needed is required.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Five years of software engineering experience, including code development, scripting, workflow, and data mapping.
- Five years of mainframe support experience: COBOL, IMS (DB), DB2, CICS, JCL.
- Advanced computer system skills include word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and or as a team member.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- A four-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is desired.
- Physical Demands.
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
