Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for oversight of the Magnet/Patient Experience Programs and innovative development and implementation of creative systems, processes, and clinical practices that improve patient care delivery.

Responsible for fostering innovation and excellence in nursing. Responsible for assuring the Magnet/Patient Experience framework and essential domains are hardwired into the organization through coordination, education and consultation with Leadership.

Leads education for staff and Magnet/Patient Experience Champions on key initiatives and Magnet principles.

Conducts gap analysis for evidence of the Magnet/Patient Experience Model components and works closely with leadership to formulate plans to close the gaps in performance.

Responsible for planning and deployment of strategies to hardwire evidence-based nursing into all areas of practice, clinical and management.

Responsible for fostering an environment of scientific inquiry through research and evidence-based practice.

Responsible for coordination and facilitation of nursing research program and related projects.

Responsible for improvement of satisfaction results across all customer groups in the organization.

Assist with managing data sets and reports related to customer satisfaction. These functions include: planning, analyzing, preparing, managing, and evaluating administrative and operational activities of customer satisfaction and related projects.

Responsible for the strategic and operational direction of educational, quality and professional development programs within the facility.

Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing all functions of the department(s) in order to meet the stated mission, vision and values HCA Mainland.

Develop processes and outcomes, comply with hospital and corporate policy and procedures, efficiently manage finances and resources, promote teamwork and customer satisfaction, and integrate the department services into the organization's overall plan for the delivery of care and service.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing. BSN required

Previous experience in Magnet Programs, Practice Council leader or document preparation strongly preferred.

Previous experience in research process and evidence-based nursing practice.

Previously worked at a Magnet Recognized Hospital.

Change management and demonstrated problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of systems/applications in hospital databases and web-based databases
