Are you a seasoned machinist with a knack for precision and a passion for creating? We are seeking an experienced Permanent Machinist to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is not for the faint-hearted but for those who thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and challenging environment. You will be at the heart of our manufacturing process, working with state-of-the-art machinery and tools to produce high-quality, precision-engineered products.

Responsibilities:

As a Machinist, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Setting up and operating CNC machinery, including lathes and mills, to produce or modify parts and products.
2. Reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and plans to understand the specifications and requirements of each job.
3. Using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure products meet exact specifications.
4. Programming and setting up 5 Axis machines for production runs.
5. Working with valves and other component parts, ensuring they are assembled correctly and function as designed.
6. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery as needed to keep it in optimal working condition.
7. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.
8. Upholding all safety and quality standards, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in CNC Lathe setup and operation.
3. Experience with 5 Axis machines.
4. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
5. Extensive knowledge of lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
6. Experience with Mastercam software.
7. Experience in working with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
8. A solid understanding of valves and their assembly.
9. The ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and plans.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to quality and safety.
