Machine Technician

Are you a talented Maintenance Technician? Our global customer is looking for a growth minded individual to join their team in Elgin, IL. You will participate in the repairs of the facility on machinery, equipment and grounds to ensure the overall equipment effectiveness in addition to leading contractors.

Job Duties:
Hands on preventive maintenance on machines and building grounds.
Oversee outside vendors when on premises.
Scheduling of service calls, support of facility inspections and overseeing yearly maintenance contracts.
Responsible for OEE test stands and drive total productive maintenance for selected machines.
Create reports, record work performed and costs of the work in SAP.
Manage purchase orders and maintenance contracts. Reconcile all invoice discrepancies.

Education and Qualifications:
Technical Degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of experience.
Safety practices and procedures relating to maintenance and repair of building facilities, equipment and grounds.
Experience with control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, PLC components, etc.
