Machine Shop Saw Operator

Description General Information: Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Saw Operator to join its Machine Shop team. In this role you will operate the marvel saws to cut slugs, CT tubes and other materials. Your Responsibilities: Perform accurate transactions in Sap in accordance with inventory accuracy procedures. Order material as needed using on site material management programs. Safe transport and storage of all raw materials in the machine shop. Follow strict adherence of CCL guidelines at the saws. Experience operating marvel saw or similar machines such as CNC or traditional lathes/mills. Overhead crane experience (rigging and operation). Able to produce parts as detailed on drawings. Your Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or technical certification preferred. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Flexible, team oriented and self-directed to ensure on time delivery out of the department. Basic working knowledge of computers and SAP preferred.
