Pay: These positions we have available onsite range from $16.65 to $18.55 per hour. Job Duties: Required to operate touch illustrated operating panel, safeties, and switches. Small mechanical adjustments. Use handheld scanner. Required to set up and tear down area at the beginning and end of processing. Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. May need to operate forklift. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements. May use SAP if transferred /rotated. Requirements: Must have 3 months work history with the same employer. Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Must be able to read and write. Computer skills (if applicable). Attention to detail. Ability to solve simple math. Lock out Training is required. Must be able to become Forklift Certified (if applicable). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift 20lbs occasionally and hold 5lbs regularly. Must be able to push, pull, and lift heavy items. Must be able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies. Must be able to work with different spices. Must be willing to take and pass various tests regarding safety and food safety practices. Must be able to work in cold and damp environment (30 -40 F temperatures) for 8-10 hours per day. Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours per day. Must be able to bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the day. Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently. Must be able to work with both hands and arms simultaneously throughout the day. Must be able to use hand, fingers, and wrist to grasp, pull, and flex. Must be able to use handheld scanner. Must be able to perform repetitive motion of the shoulders, arms, and hands with up to 50 repetitions per minute. Must be able to climb step ladders and or stairs. Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
