Job Details

As a Machine Operator in our Engineering Department, you will be at the forefront of our production process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our advanced machinery. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about engineering and have a keen eye for detail. You will be operating state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other equipment, playing a critical role in the creation of high-quality products that meet our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other machinery to manufacture parts to precise specifications.
  • Utilize Mastercam software to create and modify CNC programs.
  • Perform quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes by suggesting and implementing efficiency enhancements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within the engineering industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CNC machine operation, including 5-axis machines, lathes, and mills.
  • Proficiency in using Mastercam software to create and modify CNC programs.
  • Experience in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with CMM for quality control inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
