Our client in Somersworth, NH is searching for experienced Machine Operators.
2nd and 3rd shift available. Temporary position and with the right candidate, they could see an opportunity for full-time hire in the near future.
2nd: 3:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri $19/hr
3rd: 11:00pm-7:00am, Mon-Fri $20/hr (must be able to train on 1st shift)
Responsibilities:
• The Machine Operator will be tasked with a variety of machining and general labor tasks in various areas in the manufacturing facility including hand grinders, wire wheels.
• Contribute to the efforts of the team in the assigned group to meet the daily goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion to support other steps in the process of the winding area.
• Contribute to efforts to maintain zero lost time accidents, both in the area and throughout the plant.
• Drive and support efforts to maintain good housekeeping practices in both the assigned group and throughout the facility.
Desired Background/Skills:
• Knowledge in assembly, machining, ability to read and understand drawings, quality control and safety.
• Experience in working with a team in a diverse manufacturing environment. Three years' experience preferred but will consider other applicants.
• This is a very manual role, requiring a lot of lifting and hands-on work.
• High School Diploma/GED
