Nesco Resource, 14 plus time winner of the Best in Staffing Award, is looking for experienced machine operators for a reputable Solon company. Our client, a leading innovator in chemical technology for automotive maintenance and repair, is looking for experienced technicians to perform complex repairs under minimal supervision to maintain on-site machinery and equipment. We are looking to fill 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities starting at $25/hour minimum (place shift premium).
Machine A Operator
- Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour
- 2 nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday)

The Machine A Operator is responsible for the following: - Operating filling and packaging equipment according to procedures
- Tending to machines that perform various packaging functions such as filling, labeling, packing or closing containers.
- Responsible for adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, loading, maintenance, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines
- Organizing and performing job in accordance with bills of material and routing instructions
- Responsible for quality inspection of goods to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications
- Completion of all required paperwork for production as needed by MFG procedures
- Identifying problems and assisting in troubleshooting
- Assisting in training of new operators and assisting other teams as needed
- Promoting and following all safety guidelines and procedures, and recommending safety improvements as needed
- Forklift experience required
Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years previous experience as a Machine Operator in a Manufacturing environment
- Previous experience working with filling and packaging lines and/or consumer products.
- Able to lift at least 65 pounds occasionally.
- Able to stand for 6-8 hours per day.
- Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.
