The
Intermediate Machine Operator performs operation on CNC equipment, training on basic set ups. Operation of manual machines, including mills, lathes, semi-auto grinders, punch presses, etc. Ensures that all tasks are performed
in and efficient, safe and quality manner.
QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITESEducation and Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) or more years machine shop or machine tool education or
experience.
Skills and Abilities- Good general mechanical abilities
- Ability to use measuring tools such as: micrometers, calipers
- Good blueprint reading skills.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
Certificates, licenses, training, or other
job-related requirementsNo current restrictions prohibiting regular lifts up to 50 lbs.
No current restrictions prohibiting infrequent lifts up to 100 lbs.
